Description
ExcelDye™ 6X DNA Loading Dye, Orange is a ready-to-use loading buffer for preparing and tracking DNA samples during agarose or polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
The formulation contains Orange G for migration tracking, glycerol to help samples settle into the wells and EDTA to chelate divalent metal ions and inhibit metal-dependent nuclease activity.

Note: Orange G migration is affected by agarose concentration, electrophoresis buffer and running conditions. A separate compatible nucleic acid stain is required to visualise DNA bands.
