Description
ExcelRT™ One-Step RT-PCR Kit is designed for reverse transcription and conventional PCR amplification of a specific RNA target in a single tube. It can amplify targets directly from total RNA or messenger RNA without requiring a separate first-strand cDNA synthesis step.
The kit combines recombinant reverse transcriptase and Taq DNA polymerase with an optimised 2X buffer containing dNTPs, magnesium and enzyme stabiliser. This streamlined format reduces handling time, pipetting steps and the risk of cross-contamination.

Compatibility: Suitable for conventional endpoint RT-PCR using total RNA or mRNA templates. The system is optimised for sequence-specific forward and reverse primers, which must be supplied separately. It is not formulated for quantitative real-time RT-PCR.
Packaging: Taq/RT Enzyme Mix, 50 µL; and 2X One-Step Buffer, two bottles containing 750 µL each. Sufficient for 50 reactions under the recommended protocol.
