Description
ExcelRT™ Reverse Transcriptase is a recombinant Moloney Murine Leukaemia Virus reverse transcriptase designed for efficient first-strand cDNA synthesis from total RNA or messenger RNA. The enzyme offers reduced RNase H activity, high yield and improved thermal stability.
ExcelRT™ can routinely synthesise first-strand cDNA longer than 8 kb at 37–50°C. Its ability to operate at temperatures up to 50°C helps reduce RNA secondary structure and supports reverse transcription of structured or difficult RNA templates.
