Description
ExcelTaq™ 2X qPCR Master Mix, SYBR, No ROX is a ready-to-use mixture for quantitative real-time PCR using double-stranded DNA-binding dye chemistry. It contains Hot-Start Taq polymerase, SYBR Green dye and the essential qPCR components except primers and template.
The formulation provides high sensitivity, strong fluorescence and low background. A smart blue contrast dye assists visual pipetting without interfering with fluorescence detection.

Compatibility: Compatible with many real-time PCR instruments that do not require ROX. For instruments requiring passive-reference normalisation, add a compatible ROX reference dye separately or select the ROX-containing TQ1110 formulation.

Note: Confirm whether the selected qPCR instrument requires ROX passive-reference dye. On instruments that permit reference-dye selection, disable the passive-reference channel when running the master mix without added ROX. Primer concentration, template input and cycling conditions should be optimised for the assay.
