Description
ExcelTaq™ 2X qPCR Master Mix, TaqMan, ROX is a ready-to-use mixture for probe-based quantitative real-time PCR. It contains Hot-Start Taq polymerase, ROX reference dye and the essential amplification components except primers, hydrolysis probes and template.
The polymerase’s 5′→3′ exonuclease activity cleaves target-bound TaqMan probes during extension, releasing the fluorescent reporter for sensitive and specific real-time quantification.

Compatibility: Suitable for real-time PCR instruments compatible with hydrolysis-probe detection and ROX passive-reference normalisation. The reporter and quencher dyes must be compatible with the selected instrument’s optical channels.
