Description
ExcelTaq™ 5X Blood Direct PCR Master Mix Kit enables direct PCR amplification from whole blood without prior DNA purification. The ready-to-use formulation contains the essential PCR components and is tolerant of common blood-derived inhibitors.
The master mix contains Orange G loading and tracking dye for convenient post-PCR gel electrophoresis. CCR5 positive-control primers suitable for primate blood samples are also included.

Note: Mix thoroughly before PCR. Following amplification, centrifuge the reaction at 1,000 × g for 1–3 minutes and load only the clear supernatant for gel-electrophoresis analysis. Reaction conditions may require optimisation for different blood samples and primer sets.
