Description
ExcelTaq™ 5X Fluorescent PCR Master Mix is a ready-to-use PCR mixture containing the essential amplification components, bromophenol blue tracking dye and a fluorescent DNA stain. Only primers, template DNA and water need to be added.
Amplified products can be loaded directly onto TAE- or TBE-buffered agarose gels and visualised using 470 nm blue light or UV illumination without a separate DNA-staining step.

Compatibility: Suitable for agarose-gel electrophoresis using TAE or TBE running buffer. PCR products may be visualised using a 470 nm blue-light illuminator or conventional UV transilluminator.
Packaging: Supplied as two 1 mL tubes, providing 2 mL total and sufficient reagent for approximately 200 reactions.

Note: At low DNA concentrations, the fluorescent dye-to-DNA ratio may reduce migration speed and cause products to appear larger than expected. This master mix is not recommended when precise discrimination between similarly sized DNA fragments is required.
