01 Description, applications & specifications
Description
FluoroVue™ Nucleic Acid Gel Stain is a highly sensitive 10,000X fluorescent stain designed primarily for in-gel detection of double-stranded DNA, single-stranded DNA and RNA.
The stain is compatible with blue-light and UV illumination, producing green-yellow fluorescence with minimal background. It detects approximately 0.14 ng DNA or 1 ng total RNA.
Key Features: 10,000X concentrated formulation • Designed for in-gel staining • Detects dsDNA, ssDNA and RNA • Approximately 0.14 ng DNA sensitivity • Approximately 1 ng total RNA sensitivity • Blue-light and UV compatible • Minimal background fluorescence • Five 500 µL vials
Applications: In-Gel Nucleic Acid Staining • DNA Gel Electrophoresis • RNA Gel Electrophoresis • PCR Product Analysis • Restriction Digest Analysis • DNA and RNA Fragment Visualisation • Gel Extraction and Cloning Workflows
Compatibility: Recommended for in-gel staining during agarose gel electrophoresis. Post-staining is recommended for polyacrylamide gels. Blue-light illumination is preferred when nucleic acids will be recovered for downstream applications.
Packaging: Five 500 µL vials, providing 2.5 mL of 10,000X concentrate and approximately 25 litres of 1X working solution.
Manufacturer: SMOBIO Technology
