01 Description, applications & specifications
Description
G-HiFi™ DNA Polymerase is a genetically modified recombinant polymerase with an elongation enhancer for high-fidelity amplification of long and GC-rich DNA templates.
The enzyme provides approximately 70-fold higher fidelity than Taq, 3′→5′ proofreading activity and amplification of suitable targets up to 40 kb. It generates blunt-ended PCR products.
Key Features: Approximately 70-fold higher fidelity than Taq • 3′→5′ proofreading activity • Suitable for GC-rich templates • Amplification up to 40 kb • Approximately 7-second-per-kb synthesis rate • Blunt-ended products • High thermostability • Optimised 5X buffer • Reduced nonspecific amplification
Applications: High-Fidelity PCR • Long-Range PCR • GC-Rich Template Amplification • Difficult-Template PCR • Gene Cloning • Blunt-End Cloning • DNA Sequencing Template Preparation • Site-Directed Mutagenesis • Genomic DNA Amplification
Compatibility: Suitable for PCR applications requiring accurate amplification of long, GC-rich or otherwise challenging DNA templates. Cycling conditions should be optimised for the target length, GC content and primer system.
Packaging: 100 µL enzyme at 1 U/µL, providing 100 units. Supplied with 5X G-HiFi™ Buffer and dNTP Mix.
Manufacturer: SMOBIO Technology
