Description
GenEx™ Cell is a solution-based genomic DNA extraction kit designed for convenient isolation of total DNA from cultured cells and Gram-negative bacteria. The system uses specially formulated buffers to provide scalable DNA purification according to the amount of starting material.
The gentle extraction procedure enables recovery of very high molecular weight genomic DNA while avoiding phenol/chloroform and other organic extraction methods. Purified DNA is suitable for PCR, Southern blotting, restriction enzyme assays and other downstream molecular biology applications.
