Description

Glycine, Molecular Biology Grade is a high-purity, nuclease- and protease-tested amino acid used for preparing electrophoresis and protein-analysis buffers.

As a component of Tris-glycine buffer systems, it regulates ion mobility and supports effective protein stacking, separation and sharp band formation during PAGE and Western blotting workflows.

Key Features: Molecular biology grade • 99.00–102.00% assay • DNase free • RNase free • Protease free • Highly soluble in water • Suitable for electrophoresis buffer preparation

Applications: Tris-Glycine Buffer Preparation • SDS-PAGE • Native PAGE • Protein Electrophoresis • Western Blotting • Transfer Buffer Preparation • Protein Separation • Molecular Biology Research

Compatibility: Suitable for Tris-glycine electrophoresis and transfer-buffer formulations. Use the concentration specified by the selected SDS-PAGE, native PAGE or Western blotting protocol.

Preparation: Dissolve the required quantity in purified water with the other buffer components, adjust the final volume and confirm the pH according to the validated formulation.

Packaging: Available in 100 g, 500 g, 1 kg and 5 kg packs.

Manufacturer: HiMedia Laboratories
