Description
Murashige & Skoog Medium, Finer & Nagasawa Modification is a powdered plant tissue culture basal medium containing modified MS macroelements and standard MS microelements.
The formulation contains 1.6 times the standard MS concentration of potassium nitrate and half the standard concentration of ammonium nitrate. Vitamins are not included, allowing them to be selected separately for the intended culture protocol.

Compatibility: Vitamins, sucrose or another carbon source, plant growth regulators and a gelling agent should be added separately where required by the selected plant tissue culture protocol.
Preparation: Dissolve the required quantity in purified water, add any separately required supplements, adjust the pH and bring to the final volume. Sterilise according to the laboratory protocol and the stability requirements of added components.
Packaging: Available as M0240.0010 for 10 L, M0240.0050 for 50 L and M0240.0100 for 100 L of prepared medium.
