Description
Murashige & Skoog Medium with Modified Vitamins is a powdered plant tissue culture medium containing MS macroelements, microelements and a modified vitamin mixture.
The modified formulation contains 1.0 mg/L thiamine HCl, ten times the concentration found in standard MS vitamins. It is available in quantities sufficient to prepare 10 L or 50 L of medium.

Compatibility: Sucrose or another carbon source, plant growth regulators and a gelling agent should be added separately where required by the selected plant tissue culture protocol.
Preparation: Dissolve the required quantity in purified water, add any separately required supplements, adjust the pH and bring to the final volume. Sterilise according to the laboratory protocol and the stability requirements of added components.
Packaging: Available as M0245.0010 for 10 L and M0245.0050 for 50 L of prepared medium.
