Description
Murashige & Skoog Medium, van der Salm Modification is a powdered basal medium containing macroelements and microelements for plant tissue culture. The formulation uses FeEDDHA as its iron source and is based on the van der Salm modification of Murashige and Skoog medium.
This M0241 formulation does not contain vitamins, allowing researchers to select and add an appropriate vitamin mixture separately. It is available in quantities sufficient to prepare 10 L, 50 L or 100 L of medium.

Compatibility: Vitamins, plant growth regulators, sucrose or another carbon source, and a gelling agent should be added separately where required by the selected plant tissue culture protocol.
Preparation: Dissolve the required quantity in purified water, add any separately required supplements, adjust the pH and bring to the final volume. Sterilise according to the laboratory protocol and the stability requirements of added components.
Packaging: Available as M0241.0010 for 10 L, M0241.0050 for 50 L and M0241.0100 for 100 L of prepared medium.
