Description
RNAok™ RNase Inhibitor is a recombinant mammalian RNase inhibitor with high affinity for eukaryotic pancreatic-type ribonucleases. It forms a non-covalent 1:1 complex with RNase A and provides non-competitive inhibition of susceptible RNases.
RNAok™ inhibits RNase A, RNase B and RNase C and is compatible with AMV, M-MLV and ExcelRT™ reverse transcriptases as well as Taq DNA polymerase. It is suitable for protecting RNA during cDNA synthesis, RT-PCR, transcription and translation workflows.

Compatibility: Compatible with AMV reverse transcriptase, M-MLV reverse transcriptase, ExcelRT™ Reverse Transcriptase and Taq DNA polymerase. The inhibitor is active against RNase A, RNase B and RNase C but does not inhibit RNase H, RNase I, RNase T1, RNase T2 or S1 nuclease.
Packaging: One vial containing 100 µL at 20 U/µL, providing 2,000 units total.

Note: RNAok™ does not inhibit every class of ribonuclease. Keep the reaction temperature at or below 50°C and optimise the inhibitor concentration for the enzyme system and RNA template being used.
